Product Details

Inherits all electrical advantages of YJV: Good heat resistance (90°C), high current-carrying capacity. Excellent electrical performance with low dielectric loss. Long service life.
Rodent and pest resistance: The armor layer effectively prevents damage from rodents.
Limitations: Minimal tensile strength: Steel tape armor primarily resists compression and cannot withstand significant axial tension, making it unsuitable for vertical installation with large elevation drops.
Contains halogens: The PVC sheath produces toxic halogen acid gases and dense smoke when burned.
Increased weight and bending radius: Heavier and stiffer than unarmored YJV, slightly more difficult to install.
Application scope:
Suitable for fixed installation scenarios requiring direct burial or where significant external mechanical pressure (compression, impact) may occur, with no special requirements for flame retardancy or halogen-free properties in the environment.

Rated voltage	0.6/1kV (most common), 8.7/15kV, 26/35kV, etc.
Long-term allowable operating temperature	Maximum conductor temperature- +90°C.
Short-circuit temperature (5 seconds)	Maximum +250°C.
Installation temperature	Should not be below 0°C.
Minimum bending radius	Relatively large.
Multi-core cables	≥ 12 × cable outer diameter (D) (due to the armor structure, typically slightly higher than the requirement for unarmored YJV).
Compressive strength	Extremely high (core advantage). Effectively resists radial forces such as soil pressure during direct burial and mechanical impacts during construction.
Flame retardancy	The standard type does not meet special flame-retardant requirements. For flame-retardant applications, ZC-YJV22 should be selected.
Test voltage (0.6/1kV)	3.5kV / 5 minutes (power frequency withstand voltage).
