YJV22 Mechanical protection XLPE Insulated and Sheathed Power Cable

Conductor

 Copper (T, usually omitted). Cross-sectional range- 1.5 mm² to 1000 mm² (common for 0.6/1kV grade).

Insulation

 Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), long-term allowable operating temperature of 90°C.

Inner sheath

 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Armor layer (core feature)

 Double-layer galvanized steel tape with spaced wrapping. Provides extremely high compression and impact mechanical strength.

Outer sheath

 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) protects the armor against corrosion.

Rated voltage

 0.6/1kV (most common), 8.7/15kV, 26/35kV, etc.

Long-term allowable operating temperature

 Maximum conductor temperature- +90°C.

Short-circuit temperature (5 seconds)

 Maximum +250°C.

Installation temperature

 Should not be below 0°C.

Minimum bending radius

 Relatively large.

Multi-core cables

 ≥ 12 × cable outer diameter (D) (due to the armor structure, typically slightly higher than the requirement for unarmored YJV).

Compressive strength

 Extremely high (core advantage). Effectively resists radial forces such as soil pressure during direct burial and mechanical impacts during construction.

Flame retardancy

 The standard type does not meet special flame-retardant requirements. For flame-retardant applications, ZC-YJV22 should be selected.

Test voltage (0.6/1kV)

 3.5kV / 5 minutes (power frequency withstand voltage).
